Is pre-paid auto available outside Egmore Railway Station ? |
Travel Info I want to go to Velachery. Should I take a local train to Saidapet ? Is local train service available from Egmore to Saidapet ?? or should I opt for pre-paid taxi or auto ?? What do u suggest I do ? Also can you tell me the difference between a Mansion and a lodge in Chennai ? How are the two different ?? Travel Tips Get down at Central Railway station - Walk straight outside - cross the road - Go to Park station ( If you ask anyone they will tell), take the local train to Guindy - Come out take the subway cross the road - you will get bus to Velachery. Dont take prepaid taxi or Auto - they are expensive(They cheat, precisely) , you can think of call taxi's 25384455 A lodge is kind of hotel which charges on daily basis and a mansion charges on monthly basis(In some mansion you will have to share the room with 1 or two), dont stay in mansion they are not good.
