What is some good road trip places with 5hrs of chicago? something with nature.(wisconsin,iowa, ill, indiana)? |
Travel Info somewhere close to chicago not far that is nice nature scenes/ within 4 hours away somewhere south of chicago or iowa or wisconsin? anywhere nice close and cheap? please help Travel Tips You could drive the coast of Lake Michigan in either direction. The UP is beautiful, and most of the Michigan shoreline is nice too. If you go to Michigan, I'd highly recommend stopping in Saugatuck, a nice little town with lots of good food & shops. There, you could hike up to Mount Baldi. There are also the Dunes that are a little farther north toward Muskegon Mich. Others I am from Upper Michigan they have some of the best nature scenes and scenic places to visit, look up Presque Isle in Marquette Michigan for one lots of stuff to see here beautiful place. Springfield is a great place to visit they have tha Abraham Lincoln library and it is awesome, the state capital is also there and everything. i had a lot of fun there. hope i helped. or you could go to new salem it has a lot ofo historic things Indiana Dunes Amish Acres Springfield Peoria Galena Cantegney Starved Rock What about national parks? There are a few things to do around Madison (Cave of The Mounds and House on The Rock) but the Dells are the BEST. DO NOT MISS THE "DUCKS". Take the green ones. |
