What is the dumpiest vacation town/resort you have ever been to? |
Travel Info In Chicago, that would be Indiana Beach. Not only do they have this really obnoxious crow for a mascot, that is a blatant ripoff of the Maxwell Smart character in Get Smart(rest in peace, Don Adams), http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/image:india... But, the whole place has been falling apart for years. We've always wondered where the people come from that go to the park. They look all stinky and hard-up. We think they must come from little hamlets around the state. The food is gross......the rollercoaster should be condemned http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/image:ibeac... The"water park" is shut down with e coli outbreaks about three times a week. Last time we were there, we saw brown stuff coming out of the pipes, so maybe the sewer of monticello, indiana bleeds out into there somehow. They have a tacky "Midway" that hasn't been updated since the depression(1932). http://images.search.yahoo.com... Travel Tips A butlins resort somehwere in wales (can't spell it) utterly revolting. The mattresses were like carboard, the roast chicken was more like burnt rat, the nightlife was a flea-ridden cinema with one screen, and their in-resort entertainment left a hell of a lot to desire. I hate those little resorts like Butlins, I've been to three in my life (as a child) and they were all just hideous. I don't know why us Brits insist on going to them. The weather here is atrocious, and its double the price of actually going abroad to somewhere nice with nice weather and beaches that aren't covered in shingles! Crazy.... Others Galveston, Tx Deadwood they made it look fake Gatlinburg, TN There are some real scumbucket places all over Florida. They usually give them some real nice sounding name like "Oasis Vista" or "Break Point" or some other beautiful beach referance. But it's a roach infested dump with stains on everything and most of the furniture is sticky. destination "The Red-Neck Riviera" any town along hwy 98 from Mobile Alabama to Pensacola beach Florida duluth, minnesota is uuggllyy! |
