Recommendations on Quiet Places to Work in Downtown Chicago? |
Travel Info I was wondering if anyone had a particular spot in downtown Chicago where they like to study / work / read. I love downtown Chicago and would like to spend more time there, but I also have a lot of work to do most of the time. I'm especially looking for a place close to a lot of ammenities like small restaurants where you can get a bite to eat, etc. Oh, and internet access would be great as well. Any suggestions? Harold Washington Public Library has everything you want plus public transportation: www.chipublib.org/001hwlc/001h... The Main Library down on State and Roosevelt. It's pretty quiet, there are, of course, tons of books there and they have internet access. There is also a small restaurant on the top floor. Or if you want, dash outside to one of the millions of small restaurants, fast food place, etc. near the library. |
