How would one get from 35th to Ashland/Lake using the Green Line train?

Travel Info
CTA Green Line

Travel Tips
first of all...thumbs up for the question b/c I love riding the CTA too!!

ok...from 35th and the Dan Ryan...take the Red Line train (in the direction of Howard) to Roosevelt and transfer to the Green Line (in the direction of Harlem/Lake)

if youre at 35th and State...the Green Line is already there...get on at 35th/IIT/Bronzeville and go in the direction of Harlem/Lake

if youre west of the Dan Ryan...you can take the Orange Line from 35th/Archer (in the direction of Loop) to Roosevelt and transfer to the Green Line (in the direction of Harlem/Lake).

You do know the Ashland station is still closed...so you might have to get off at Clinton and shuttle bus it...good luck!!! Source(s): resident of Chicago since 83

Other Travel Tips
Why not the Ashland bus from 35th to Lake St?

The line that runs along 18th is the "pink" line. Now it goes north along Paulina, over the Eisenhower to Lake St.
