How far in chicago is airport from downtown? |
Travel Info Which of these two airports, O'hare and Midway is downtown Chicago closer to? How far are each taking the metro and how far in a taxi? Also what is the estimated taxi cost? Thanks so much! Travel Tips Midway is closer to downtown. Each is accesible by the "L" - blue line (O'Hare) - about 40 minutes and orange line (Midway) about 30 minutes. The taxi fee to downtown is $20-$25 from Midway and $25-$35 from O'Hare. Others 30-45 minutes you may want to use an internet map and directions website Mapquest Google Maps Yahoo Maps take the "L". Blue line takes you to/from Ohare/Loop and Orange line is to/from Midway/Loop. Cost is $2 can't beat that. |
