Plenty of stuff to do without going to bars - there's restaurants, the lakefront, Navy Pier, the Art Institute, the Field Museum, sports events - you'll have a tough time getting Bears tickets, but Bulls tickets are easy to come by. Also, check chicagoreader.com; they have listings for every event in Chicago, 21 or not.
