Did anybody see the King Tut Exhibit in Chicago's Field Museum? |
Travel Info Was it good? I'm going over the weekend and I was wondering is it good. Fun? Interesting? Whats in it? Travel Tips it's wonderful. you have to see it if you go. beautiful. have fun. Others It's very impressive, although it's missing Tut's famous gold mask. Still, it's got a tremendous amount of fascinating artifcats that look so preserved it's hard to believe they're thousands of years old. I recommend the audio tour, by the way - it adds a lot of useful information. yes its awesome if u like that kinda stuff.but the field museum has alot of awesome stuff, if u go check out the man eating lions of savo, they made a movie about it starring val kilmer Yes it was worth going to. I won't tell you my specific favorites, I'll let you discover your own. Definitely rent the headphones!! I won't tell you why on that one, either!! (Unless I'm easily impressed.) If you buy your ticket or already have one, don't walk the long hallway to ask where to stand in line. Ask at the beginning of the line, because I made that mistake. A long walk to find out it was for nothing. I'm talking about when you're at the exhibit door itself, downstairs. Hmm, I'm in disagreement . I thought it was a farce. Major publicity hoopla with some minor artifacts. If your looking for the "wonderful things" that Howard Carter said that he saw when lloking into the dark tomb, you'll have to go to Cairo, Egypt. i had a fun time but dont take a camera they don't whant you to take pictures but i was bummed that they didn't have his tomb but plenties of other tombs. |
