Where would i be better moving to chicago or minnesta and if i go to chicago is there any good programs????? l |
Travel Info i am looking to move from milwaukee if i lose my house i'm renting i am planning to go to chicago or minnesta chicago is closer and i have family there but need to know about programs Travel Tips I actually like both cities. Both have places within the city that you can get away from the crowd and relax (the area around the University of Minnesota campus is pretty relaxing during the spring and summer). The people in both cities are pretty nice, there are a lot of cultural and civic activities going on, etc. Minnesota does get a little bit colder than Chicago in the winter time, and that's saying something. As far as housing programs (which I assume you're talking about) check with each city's Department of Housing. I'm sure they have a website and can tell of you of housing assistance programs, etc. Others What kind of programs? Television programs? Theater programs? Chicago is an all around better place than Minneapolis ... but it really depends on your specific needs. Probably more job opportunities in Chicagoland. Chicago is more expensive and the driving conditions are worse. If you mean welfare programs - why leave Wisconsin they're the easiest to get money from. I think Minnesota's are better than Illinois. If you mean school programs, haven't a clue about that for either. I was born and raised in Chicago-move to Minnesota. |
