Activity-Based Gift Ideas?

Hi,

I'm looking for an activity-based gift for my husband. I'm not looking for anything too crazy like sky diving, but wanted something that's fun to do. I thought about sports tickets (since he's a big sports fan), but that seemed too predictable.

We live in Chicago...does anyone have ideas for a gift (sports related or non-sports related)??

I believe the Harley-Davidson store has motorcycle riding classes and I believe they lend the bike. Also, the Mid-town Tennis club has classes you can get him some time with an instructor there. There are also places for paintball that you can probably get gift certificates for. Also, The Chicago Cubs, the white Sox and the Bears have annual conventions at local hotels that you may be able to get advanced tickets to. He'd get to meet the players and get autographs and attend seminars etc.

write to his fav teams & ask them if they can take a little time out to meet & greet hubby.....their number one fan. Even just 10 mins of one of their team members time. Take him along to a training session. Might not happen but its worth a go if they agree :o)
Is he into rally driving? See if you can book him in to have a rally drive. Here in Australia, there are day courses you can take to train you to be a safe rally driver....only on the course track though :o)
