It tends to get better as you go west, but I wouldn't walk around at night anywhere near 73rd. Even the "working class" neighborhoods west of Kedzie are crime-ridden, and don't go to Ford City unless you want to get mugged. Like he said 73rd is on the Southwest side of Chicago. It depeds how far west they live. They could live outside Englewood. Don't walk around late at night or by youself. If you look suspect the midnight boys will jack you. Just being real. South side resident What's the cross street? That will give us more info. Anyway, that street runs from crime-infested (Englewood) to more blue-collar (i.e. by Ford City). lived on South Side for five years |
