Hot Dogs and Pizza is what Chicago is known for. But, I had a good burger at Mr Beef's. That place has great Italian Beef Sandwiches. It's nothing special as far as building appearance--so don't get scared. It's on Orleans, and Jay Leno's favorite place. I had some good food a couple doors down at the Green Door Tavern too. Actually it's in Hoffman Estates, like 25 minutes out of Chicago, but right off of 90. They are amazing!
Chicago is a hot dog town, but you should try the Billy Goat (original location) on Michigan beneath the Wrigley Building.

5 Faces located off of Dearborn and...crap..I forgot..I don't live there no more. :( Northside though..near GoldCoast. I wanna say Wilson st.
