Oh and be sure to stop into victoria's. Dinner and a movie is a classic, and even though it has a date feel, it's not just for dates anymore. Don't pick a sappy chick flick thinking it will impress her, but also don't pick something that will gross her out like a Jackass 2. It's important when you're in this 'wooing' stage that she doesn't feel like she's just one of the guys, but something kind of special to you... it's also important that she doesn't feel like you're going over the top to impress or 'woo' her. Movies are a quick and easy solution, and it will get you some points, but there may be better things to do as well. Since you're both mid-twenties, consider a trip to a local winery for a day of wine-tasting and relaxation. Even in the off seasons, wineries still sell wine, it's just not the fresh stuff you'd get at other times of year. If you're really brave and can shell out the money, take her to a spa or invest in the materials to do massage. Nothing wins more points than confidence and comfort. Massage is also pretty darn arousing and can be a shortcut to getting rid of that pesky 'not seeing her right now' label. If you're in Chicago, there is lots of great shopping, and there are plenty of fun stores. Shopping's not a terrible idea either, but be careful that you don't seem like you're pandering to her. Keep it light and fun. Above all, ***HAVE FUN YOURSELF***. Yes, nose around and find something that she likes to do, but don't do it if you're going to be miserable or if you can't afford it and you're gonna worry about money the whole time. Wooing can be pricey. But do it because it's something you'll enjoy and because you have a chance to do it with someone you like. That's the best advice I can give. I'm personally a big fan of Second City. Take her out to dinner at a little ethnic restaurant then go over to Second City for a good show. Devon recontinues on the opposite side of the airport and runs intermittently through Chicago's northwestern suburbs. The street is located at 6400 N in Chicago's address system.
