Does anyone have Riverview Roller Rink photos, films or other collectables?

Travel Info
Riverview park was located on Belmont aveunue just west of Western in Chicago Illinois. Riverview Park closed in 1967. The rink remained open until 1971 when it was ruined by a fire.

There is currently a Riverview Reunion of old skaters and their families that get together. The reunion has been going steady for over 25 years. It is currently organized by Spanky and held at the coachlite in suburban Chicago. The group has collected a fair amount of collectables. One thing that is absent is film footage from the rink. maybe a 16mm or 8mm film is in your parents attic or in an unlabeled tin can in a box.

Travel Tips
I know Ch. 11 had a special on a while back that had footage of Riverview. It was a show about old time Chicago and they compiled it by asking people to send in their home movies. I don't know if they are selling copies of the show, but they sometimes do seel DVD/videos of their locally made shows. check with them. Also the Chicago History Museum may have some stuff. I'd look there too.
