Where can i meet arabs in chicago?

I'm an arab.....im 16 years old......and every since i came 2 chicago i been feeling very lonely.....not cuz i dont have any friends.....matter of fact i have many of them.....but the thing is i dont know any arabs at all....even though i go to the most divers high school in chicago....i still havent meat any arabs......i feel the need to know arabs...because i like to have people 2 relate 2....people who understand where i come from....people who understand my cultureal believes without having me sit there 4 hours trying to explain them!......i want 2 know people from my own blood (ARAB BLOOD).....so i can feel like i belong......because i believe no matter where u go....and no matter what happenes u should always remember ur roots and where u came from!....................*****... peoples!

I'm not sure what your religion is (I'm not going to automatically assume you're Muslim) but your best bet is probably to start with Muslim youth organizations. I googled for a while to find some for you.
The Muslim group at Loyola seems to bet very organized and even though you're still in HS you may be able to join them in their activities.

I would also suggest checking local colleges to see if they have Arab student clubs, and see if they can help you.
