Chicago restaurants?

Travel Info
What are some good places to eat in Chicago with my dad and sister? Perhaps some sort of steak place. We don't want a place that will be crawling with tourists, noisy, or overly expensive.

Travel Tips
Dick's Last Resort is a fun place, good chicken and ribs. I had a blast. I love taking tourists there

Chicago Chop House. Also the Billygoat Tavern, the real one on lower wacker. No steaks at billygoat but very interesting.
Steakhouse- I really like Outback, it's not too expensive and they have few locations. One by the airport is on Higgins Rd close to Cumberland Ave. There is also one in Skokie on Touhy Ave by Central. They have great drinks too.
Carmichaels at 1052 Monroe is my suggestion. Check the following site for reviews and other places:

Try Wildfire (159 W. Erie). Great steaks, not too pricy. Cy's Steak and Chop house (4138 n. Lincoln) is pretty cool and so it Select Cut on North Halsted St. Brazazz (539 n. dearborn) and Fogo de Chao (661 n. LaSalle) are two of those new Brazilian type restaurants that have the waiters constantly bring you different cuts of beef, pork, etc. and carve it at your tableside. They give you a card and when you're ready for the next selection of meat, you flip it over. It's a little pricy but you can eat as much as you can. The Chicago Firehouse on South Michigan is pretty new, haven't been there but I've heard good things. And Gene and Georgetti's at 500 N. Franklin is a legend. Small but EVERYONE goes there...
A cheap and interesting place with surprisingly good steaks is Ronny's, which is in the Thompson office building right next to the Clark/Lake 'L' station in the Loop. You'll get good food and a lot of local color.
