Where can i find a good hotel at a decent price in chicago illinois? |
Travel Info by good hotel i MEAN A CLEAN ONE!!! Travel Tips 1) Come in winter. Much cheaper. 2) Try the Red Roof Inn off Michigan Avenue. Surprisingly cheap, and a really nice hotel. 3) Don't stay directly downtown. Try one of the outerlying hotels like the Best Western Grant Park or Best Western Hawthorne Place - those are still in neighborhoods near downtown, with easy public transportation, but don't cost you so much for being next to Michigan Avenue. I lived at Diversey and Hampden, and know good hotels in this area. The Ramada Inn O'Hare at Cumberland and the Kennedy Expressway is right across the street from the Cumberland 'L' station, about a 45-minute ride from the Loop. Prices vary, but it's usually quite affordable. There is also a Holiday Inn near the same 'L' stop. |
