Looking for a store in Chicago......? |
Travel Info I'm looking for a store where they sell gallons of syrup for drinks. i,e. concentrate mojito, margarita, and pina colada mix. I've seen the ones they have at the liquor stores, but I need something a little economical as I need to serve these drinks for over 250 people. I know they do exhist as I've seen them on-line. I would like to go and buy them instead of spending all that money on shipping. Thanks in advance. Travel Tips Give these places a call. They might be able to help or at least steer you in the right direction: DIAGEO 333 West Wacker Drive Suite 1100 Chicago, IL 60606 Phone 312-279-3464 Fax 312-279-3533 Product or Service Bar Liquor, Beverages, Liqours, Wine ----- Midway Wholesalers Inc. 41 West 84th Street Chicago, IL 60620 Phone 773-874-8000 Fax 773-874-5804 http://www.midwaywholesalers.com... Product or Service Bar Equipment, Bar Supplies, Beer & Ale, Liquors, Others Hi Steffo, You could try a party store like Party City but I don't know if they sell this in the quantities you need. I don't know of a store that you as a consumer could buy exactly what you want, but try to contact a liquor distributor or a local Mexican restaurant near you for this type of volume of colada and margarita mix. Mojito is pretty much just mint leaves, rum and sugar -- not sure if there's a concentrate for this beyond "simple syrup". If this is for bar service for an event like an anniversary party or wedding, you'll need bar staff to make the drinks anyway so you might be better off just getting the bar service package for your event. More info -- you can rent a margarita machine from Doolin's so try to call them too http://www.doolins.com/rentals.htm... Try calling some of these places GFS- Gordan's food service Sams Club Costco ..Have you tried Cost Plus World Market? I used to work there and periodically we would get in buckets of that stuff. I don't know about during this time of year, but call and see what they have. Good Luck. Try a Sam's Club or a Costco....they are pretty much the same depending on where you live. I'm almost positive they would have the syrups....they have everything. |
