Does anyone know of a decent but cheap hotel near the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois? |
Travel Info Going to a concert the end of this month at the Allstate Arena. Need to get a hotel and any suggestions if hotel is not in walking distance - how is parking around there? Others Howard Johnson Inn and Suites Arlington Heights Area: Chicago OHare Airport ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL 1925 E HIGGINS ROAD ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL 60007 Approx: 50-75 a night. Decent~! There are tons of hotels around Allstate Arena. It's located in the Rosemont area. It's about 5 miles away from the arena. I've attached a link for you to check out. It runs about $59 on travelocity. Now for closeness, I would go with the Comfort Inn. It's 0.2 miles from the arena, but it's $90 a night. I'm lazy. I prefer to pay more and stay closer. Here's a link for both of them. There's a Travelodge at Higgins and Manheim that is quite close (walking distance if you're willing to walk a ways). ANY of the chain motels by O'Hare (in Elk Grove Village, Schiller Park, or Rosemont) would be a short drive away. Parking is easily available at Allstate Arena, but you will pay event prices. You could try parking at the shopping center next door, but you could well be towed. If you want a cheaper parking option, drive to the CTA park-and-ride in Rosemont (River Road and the Kennedy Expressway), and catch a Pace bus to the arena. |
