Travel Info If so, is it free (street parking) or pay lots? Travel Tips Most Metra stations you have to pay for parking. This is how the city gets a taste of the action. I have attached a link to the station and there is a phone number there for you to check it out. Most towns don't allow street parking until 9 am to combat the commuters. Street parking is not wise. Summit is ok, but that station is isolated and unattended. Make sure you have your ticket confirmation in advance otherwise you have to additional fare on the train. The Summit Police do patrol often, but its dark and not the best. |
