CHICAGO-Is it faster/easier to get to downtown Chicago from O'Hare or Midway?

Midway. Midway is really in Chicago itself, and the Orange Line L train from there will get you downtown in 30 minutes. O'Hare is further out - the Blue Line L train takes 45 minutes to get to downtown. Also, traffic to and from Midway - since it's a smaller airport - tends to be much less than traffic to and from O'Hare.

Send Photo to a FriendMidway is the smaller of the two airports in Chicago. It's located on the south side of Chicago and is easily accessible via the CTA's Orange Line. Midway more typically serves domestic flights but connections to other countries can usually be booked. Depending on where you're heading to in Chicago, Midway may be much more convenient than O'Hare.

midway is right in the city, ohare is about 40min outside the city but ohare is right on the highway so you dont have to deal with city traffic. my choice would be midway myself.
Midway
Both are good airports. O'Hare has a much wider variety of flights, but Midway is smaller and often easier to deal with. As for their convenience to downtown, it really depends on when you're arriving and how you plan to get downtown. Both airports have direct connections to the 'L'. The orange line ends at Midway (about half an hour to downtown), and the blue line ends at O'Hare (about 45 minutes to downtown). If you're planning to rent a a car or take a taxi, if it's not morning rush hour, O'Hare is probably quicker even though it's further away. That's because O'Hare is right on the Kennedy Expresway, while you have to fight traffic on Cicero Avenue to get out of Midway and get to the Stevenson Expressway. At morning rush, all bets are off--and any time of day the 'L' is probably a better alternative, since then you don't have to worry about parking.
Both the same they both have public transportation (train stations) so it really doesn't matter as far as distance. I usually like to fly out of Midway, because it doesn't get as congested as O hare does. With miday your pretty much in and out.
Midway cause its less traffic and u get there faster
