Travel Tips
Well, there's the Days In on Clark street (http://local.yahoo.com/details;_ylt=atrf... It's not too far away, but definitely a bus ride to the ballpark. The City Suits hotel is REALLY close by (http://local.yahoo.com/details;_ylt=aiiu... You can walk to the ballpark and back. Problem is it's on Belmont, which is always hustling and bustling. The el train stop is right there so I'm guessing with all of that action, sleep might be difficult. The Willows Hotel (http://local.yahoo.com/details;_ylt=aqky... seems pretty nice (one of my hangouts is near there). It's on a relatively quiet side street, around the corner from a shopping area with a few bars and stuff.

The Best Western Hawthorn Terrace (http://local.yahoo.com/details;_ylt=ajdb... is REALLY close to Wrigley Field, about three or four blocks away. It's a small hotel, but I see a lot of people going in and out.

there's also a Days Inn hotel on Diversey St. but I don't know the exact address. You might be able to look it up. This place is REALLY popular. A lot of the touring rock bands that play in the area stay there. It's within walking distanct of Wrigley Field too (maybe a little farther than the other place... about 6 or 7 blocks but if it's a nice day, not too bad)

Not sure if any of these are in your price range. good luck.

Others
I would recommend either the Best Western at Hawthorne Terrace, the City Suites Hotel at Belmont and Sheffield, or the Days Inn at Diversey and Clark. All are in Lakeview, which is a terrific neighborhood with lots of restaurants and shops, and allare walking distance to Wrigley Field (or a short cab or bus or L trip.)

The City Suites hotel is the nicest but probably the most expensive. Best Western Hawthorne is quite nice. Days Inn is cheaper. I'd probably go with the Best Western.
