Travel Info Odyssey Chicago-feedback? have you been on a cruise? what did you think? Travel Tips HI, I've been on several cruises at Navy Pier. To me, the Odyssey is the most "elegant" of all the cruises there. If you're looking to sail with the higher class and eat the higher class food, then choose the odyssey. If you are looking to do it up right then go with Odyssey. If you are looking just for a cruise and look at buildings then do the Wendella when the season starts in April-May. I've been on dinner cruises on both the Odyssey, & the Spirit of Chicago. They're both great. The Odyssey is more expensive & elegant. The Spirit is less formal. Both have great food & entertainment & service. One minor complaint about the Odyssey. I ordered a pork chop which required sharp knife & they didn't have one. They gave me a sharpish butter knife & it was fine but I would've prefered a steak knife. That was the only complaint, though. |
