Travel Info If somone is coming from Indiana to Chicago on 11th st station, where should they get off to be near pulaski? Travel Tips The South Shore train from Indiana arrives at Randolph Street Station under Millennium Park in the Loop. You'll almost certainly want to go all the way downtown. You don't say WHERE on Pulaski you want to go, which is important. Pulaski is a north-south street that runs the length of the city (and beyond) on the west side. The South Shore train runs parallel to it, and much further east (along the lake). To get to Pulaski from downtown, you can take either the blue, green, pink, or orange lines of the 'L'. (On the blue line both the Pulaski stop on the Forest Park end and the Irving Park stop on the O'Hare end will take you to Pulaski.) One of the 'L' lines will probably go somewhere near your destination. If not, you can transfer to the #53 bus, which runs along Pulaski. Others I have lived in Chicago 37 years and I have know idea what the 11th st. station is. If your going on a train the conductor will let you know. If they are coming in from Indiana I am guessing the South Shore Electric. That line ends up near Michigan and Wacker and that is no where near Pulaski. Go to metrarail.com and take a look yourself because that is the safest thing to do. |
