Remember that there are 2 types of "blocks," short blocks and long blocks. There are 2 short blocks in a long or regular block. For example, going south past Roosevelt Rd. there are streets that have numbers...17th ST, 17th PL, 18th ST, 18th PL, then 19th ST. These are short blocks. From 17th ST to 19th ST is 2 blocks not 4.
