What is it like to live in chicago?

Travel Tips
Right now, it is cold. However, it is a wonderful city. There are plenty of parks, museums, theaters, restaurants, and bars. The lakefront is gorgeous with over 20 miles of running trails.

It's the best city in America!

Windy.
Hot and sticky in the summer, cold and nasty in the winter, but on the rare days when the weather is nice, it can be quite delightful. There is a good selection of cultural features.
My friend moved to Chicago with his mom.

He eventually had to watch her get raped and beat to death with a gun pointed at his head in some park area.

He is now in the Military and scarred for life.

I can't help but let his experience taint my views of life in Chicago.
Its amazing. There is so much to do all the time. Doesn't matter what your into you can always find something. Great restaurants, bars, hotel, shopping, Navy Pier, and so much more. Can't forget the Sox & Bears also. Sorry to be so brief, I could go on and on but I gotta go.
This question has been asked SOOO many times. You might want to do a search to see what the previous answers have been. But in a nutshell: great. Lots to see or do. Cold winters, sure. But great summers.
You should grab a travel guide.
