Safe areas to live - libertyville, IL?

What are some of the safe neighbourhoods to live near libertyville, IL. I am looking at a radius of about 15 miles and want to buy an apartment.

Mundelein is very close , and they are building a new complex of either condos or townhomes. It is suppose to be upscale. I pass it all the time but could not give you the name of it. Lake Zurich and Deer Park have some newer condos.

I live in Kenosha Wisconsin and there are a LOT of nice apartments out here. The area we are now moving to is in a really safe area. Just steer clear of the middle of Kenosha. That seems to be where the rif raf are. The far North and the south sides are really nice.
Listed from best to good are: Lake Forest, Libertyville, Highland Park, Vernon Hills, Buffalo Grove, Mundelein, Grayslake, Wauconda,and Lake Zurich. All are in Lake County and have apartments & condos in good neighborhoods.
If I had to choose, I would live in Grayslake.
Grayslake is a nice area. So is Lake Villa, Gurnee and McHenry.
