You could try Little Village, and Pilsen those are 2 popular areas. You could easily take the train to either of these locations. Your better of trying something in Pilsen, as it is closer to downtown, and nicer. A few catholic churches in Pilsen are St. Procorpius, St Adlaberts, St. Puis, Providence of God, St Pauls. If you stay in downtown or in the medical district any of these churches are very accesible. Hope this helps.
