Travel Tips Dude- listen to ME.......Japonica is the Place 2 Be Others I'm not sure about romantic, but Medieval Times restaurant is so much fun and they have the best drinks!!! It is really neat. Something fun for just adults or a whole family but I would definitely recommend it for a date! Depending on the time of year, a boat ride from Navy Pier, dinner at Mon Ami Gabi bistro in Lincoln Park or at one of the better restaurants in Greektown, an old black and white movie at the Music Box on Sheffield, a drink in the Signature Room at the top of the John Hancock building at night (pricey, but the view can't be beat), a show at Second City (laughter always puts people in a "good" mood...), and if you want to get really corny-romantic, one of those horsedrawn carriage rides that leaves from the Water Tower Go to Geja's Cafe for dinner. It is a fondue restaurant. A little pricey...probably between $27 and $35 per person for salad, cheese fondue, main course fondue, and chocolate fondue, and coffee at the end. But it is dimmly lit and very romantic. Although do not go anywhere afterwards because you will smell like oil..just a warning but a good excuse to hit the shower together :) www.gejascafe.com I'm from Chicago and there is so much to do and depends on what you like. It also depends on what time of the year. Far as restaurants, try The Signature Room located on the Magnificent Mile. Very romantic. For sight seeing Buckingham Fountain, Sears Tower, Windy City Trolley Tour. For music House of Blues. There are so many Romantic clubs and lounges. Far as Hotel, The Palmer House Hilton.
