Travel Info I'm looking for any store in chicago that sells badboy bill, julian jumpin perez,bobby d,and any old mixes from the early 1989-1993.There used to be a store right off archer and paulaski i would get the hot mixx tapes,if any one can help Travel Tips The store your talking about is Hot Jams. I saw a store similar to that in Cicero, on cermak near the Coculas resturant. But your best bet would be to go to a mixstand that they have set up at the discount mall, or mega malls. There is one on Pulaski and 51st, Sacramento and Fullerton, 26th street, and cermak and rockwell. They have a ton of mix stands there and they have all types of music. I think there's even a stand in fordcity, and the HIP, so check it out. Others Try looking in the yellow pages under record or cd stores. Then you can call them and ask if they those. Good luck! Either that or travel to the south side to Dr. Wax. They specialize in house. Have you tried Val's halla records in Oak Park? I think they're still there. They had a lot of unusual stuff when i used to shop there. Check out energeticsounds.com . . . you can get them all online! The website has a classics section as well as individual sections for each dj you listed. You can also sample before buying. It's based in Schaumburg. Also look up Another Level . . . they have more of an EDM selection, but you might find what you're looking for. Hope I helped! |
