Travel Info Is the train station in chicago within walking distance to the shed aquarium?? Travel Tips well if you think about it......EVERYTHING is in walking distance...depending on how far you want to walk :) Others I don't know Is this one of those philosophical questions like if a tree falls in the woods and there's no one around to hear it, does it make a sound? Like, what train station? If you're talking commuter rail (Ogilvie Transportation Center or Union Station), be prepared to hike a long way from West Loop to Grant Park, then south to the Museum Campus and the Shedd. South Shore Line is not as bad, since it stops in Millennium Park, but still... Closest L station is Roosevelt, I think. But that's no picnic, either. Straight shot east to the Lake, though. no, prepare to take a bus or trolley car. We walk from the Roosevelt stop. If you don't mind walking then it is no big deal. If you get tired you can take a bus. no. go to transitchicago.com. use the trip planner. its very user friendly. trolleys & buses gets u closer to the shedd. enjoy!!! |
