Travel Info If i'm under 21 in chicago, what night life is there for me? where can i go to have fun? Travel Tips Hit some of the small theatres in town, especially around DePaul. Wherever there's a college campus there's stuff that's fun for under 21. Others If you're the clubhead...there's always Zero Gravity, Energy, and Club Soda (if your younger)...techno clubs that around the Chicagoland area. Those are some of the more popular ones around my area on the southside at least. Almost nothing! But they do have some night clubs to go... 18&over. Search in google..THey must have some choices! My advice: Make a fake id....lol...just kidding! Have fun!! I agree with the first answerer. There is zero gravity and energy. Zero gravity is full of high school students like 16-17, but its kinda good. I went there many times. I'm 19 now. Another good one is Mission in Elgin, IL, its not that far actually from chicago. This one is more mature, you have to be 17-25 to enter, and if you're 21, they have a bar. I would recommend this one. The people there are usually over 18 and there is A LOT of cool people. There are lots of concerts that are 18 and over (and some even permit kids younger) at places like the Metro or the Abbey Pub. There used to be a popular punk venue called the Fireside Bowl but i think they closed that down. Not sure if where the under-21 hip-hop type clubs are, but I'm sure there are some. The places the other people mentioned are in the 'burbs, so unless you have transportation, you probably won't be able to get out there easily if you're staying in Chicago. other than that, there's a Dave and Buster's restaurant./video arcade, but I believe kids need to be accompanied with an adult if they're under a certain age. There are tons of movie theaters. Hope that helps. Zero Gravity club is pretty popular among teenagers. |
