Take a tour of Soldier Field. 2. Visit the Field Museum of Natural History 3. Go to the observatory deck of the Sears Tower on the 110th Floor. 4. Attend the Second City comedy club. 5. Have some Chicago Style Pizza. Others See the White Sox's Sears Tower,Down Town,Field Museum,Aqarium,Museum of Science and Industry,the Lake front,Navy Pier,Lincoln Park Zoo, Art Museum's as for food so much to choose from.Uno's Pizza,all kind's of ethnic food i miss so much.I love Chicago and miss it so much. Just do what they do in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, but replace Wrigley Field with U.S. Cellular Field. Then of course many of the museums that the poster above me noted, along with Millennium Park or Grant Park would be nice. prepare for extreme heat. wear comfortable walking shoes. Michigan Avenue - shopping, Millenium Park (must-see), Art Institute (must see for art lovers) Chicago River architecture tour - see the city from a boat - boats dock at Navy Pier and other places Navy Pier - the most touristy place in Chicago Skydeck at Sears Tower - about $12 per person Signature Lounge at John Hancock Center - on the 90-something floor Oak Street Beach or North Avenue Beach (free in the city; suburbs charge admission for their beaches) Oak Street for ultraexclusive shopping - French and Italian designer boutiques and such fine dining in the city - Charlie Trotter's, Tru (over $120/person) free music festivals at Grant Park gay Boystown in Lakeview Wrigleyville, the neighborhood around Wrigley Field the museums: Museum of Science and Industry, Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum of Natural History Lincoln Park Zoo (free admission) Chinatown and other ethnic neighborhoods comedy show at Second City - former home to many SNL alums Jerry Springer taping, Oprah taping night clubs, hipster bars, trendy clubs in the Weed Street District, Gold Coast, Lincoln Park, Lakeview, downtown, and Wicker Park theater, concerts, festivals, sports, whatever you like... if you're a classic car lover, Volo Auto Museum - about 60 miles from the city - $12 admission - all the antique/classic cars are for sale except for some movie/TV cars. some cars from 2 Fast 2 Furious are (or were) for sale here, from the actual movies. they have cars from many famous movies like robocop and the batman tv show. You could go see a White Sox game, well if you like to see the home team win the game. Sears Tower. Great shops on Michigan Ave. Lots of museums. Navy Pier. "The Bean". |
