Travel Info theres this emo girl i am meeting 2mrow and i wanted to no how long it takes to get there Travel Tips It is around 20 miles from the loop to DP; take the metra train; they run pretty frequently and the price is right....probably around $2....it would be $25 cab ride; the subway / EL takes you south of there to Rosemont and it is another $10 more or less cab to downtown DP.... Others Not far...maybe 15 miles. However, it depends upon how you are getting there. From the loop, no traffic: about 20-25 minutes in a taxi. If you are taking the L...it has alot of stops so that would take about an hour. metra 1/2 an hour http://metrarail.com/sched/cnw_nw/cnwnw6... from des plains...taking local it would be about less than 20 miles, so about 45 minutes, but taking the highway, it may be about 25-35 minutes. it all depends on traffic and how fast you go. but it's not bad at all. just expect less than an hour either way |
