What are the best school districts in the north/northwestern Chicago suburbs?

Travel Info
I'm in the far northwest suburbs, but may need to move a little closer for work in the Glenview area. What are some good schools or school districts? Are there any really good...but not insanely expensive...private schools that I should consider?

Travel Tips
Glenview schools are among the best in the Chicago area. There was a ranking in the Daily Herald a few weeks ago and both district 34 (K-8) and 225 (HS) were at the top of the list in many test score categories. Besides with the property taxes you are going to be paying why shell out more for private schools Source(s): Glad my parents moved us to Glenview when I was a kid!

Other Travel Tips
If youre in glenview......The public schools are great. Why go private?
just go with the public schools in Glenview; they are among the best in the country....no need to pay out big $ for private schools.
Schaumburg is the best. Back in the 60's the Board President named Rudd gave it the momentum to be the best and it has kept it.
