Chicago and Drive-In Theaters? |
Travel Info Would anyone know where the closest drive-in movie theater is? Perferably closest to the southwest suburbs. I love drive-in movies and haven't seen one in years and years. Travel Tips Here's a list of almost all the drive in theaters that are/were in the Chicago area (http://www.drive-ins.com/dbdisrch.htm?zi... As you can see, most of there are closed except the Cascade in West Chicago. Others cascade in west chicago, (also mentioned above) is a pretty good theater. They usually play run-of-the-mill movies, the typical fare... Years ago there was a drive in near Cicero and one on Southwest Highway in Chicago but they are gone. There was one in Aurora that closed down about a year ago. The West Chicago one is the only one I know of. |
