I am 22 and I live in Chicago; I am planning a ROAD TRIP in May or June. Where can I go and why? |
Travel Info Best answer may get a prize... I have been in Miami and Vegas many times so do not use them as an answer. Travel Tips In June, Mexico, and the southwest, would be like an oven to you. You did not mention how long you wish to be gone, interests, or budget. I would recomend Boston area, for its rich History, ( and do not miss Old Ironsides), the whale watch boat excursions, cape cod, DC. maybe even Gettysburg, and feel the civil war. The new england states are beautiful, in the early summer. also upstate New York,,try the finger lakes area, I know it rather well,,go there every year. Lots to do and see there, and Niagara Falls is on the way,, and Toronto is also an hour from yor route,,nice place,,lousy parking though,,,try Hanlan's nude beach, there. and if in new York State,, Empire Haven Nudist Resort, in Moravia,, a favorite place of mine. Hope you remember gas prices will rise again, so driving really far is costly. A trip to all these places would not be a lot, in gas money. Perhaps take a friend or two, and share the costs???? hvae a fun, and safe trip! Others California, Grand Canyon, mt. Rushmore, seattle. b/c I've never been to these places. In the heat of summer, go west and north, Chicago to Yellowstone to Seattle. Check out Rushmore, the Badlands, the Rockies, and the Cascades. Return by Mt St Helens, Portland Oregon, the Bonneville Salt Flats, Salt Lake City... Come to Vancouver BC, beaches ,mountains lots to see and do., go to tourismvancouver tourismbc I suggest Los Cabos in Mexico.....never been there...looks great.....warm weather....here is more info...... http://www.advantagemexico.com/los_cabos... Go to New York City, its the one of those places you need to see before you die. You are a cocky one, aren't you? 1. You could bike along the bicycle path on the water, its about 39 miles one way. Don't forget your map and a camera. 2. If want to take the car, drive to Toronto, big city, real people, no slums, no racism, lots of sights and you can do Niagara Falls too. Stop on the way to visit Henry Ford Museum in Detroit. |
