There is a bunch of hospitals in Chicago. There is the University of Illinois, University of Illinois of Chicago, Loyola, Rush Hospital, McNeal Hospital, Children's Hospital, Sinai Hospital, Ravens Wood Hospital, Cook County Hospital (free health care) and about 75 more that I don't know their names... Make a search on yahoo and you will find lots of hospitals near your house or get a local phone book....take care!!!!

And the question is?
I second that...
excellent. don't forget about rush, u of i medical center, loyola....
U of C is generally held in high regard. I was treated for cancer at Northwestern Memorial and have nothing but good things to say about my experience there. Excellent nursing staff, large rooms, relatively new building, easy access.
Finding a good doctor is the hard part. Good doctors don't mind answering a lot of questions. There are always good hospitals. I recommend BCBS for your insurance (PPO). You can go to any doctor, any hospital. Just don't abuse it. Let's keep healthcare costs reasonable.
