Gay Lords Street Gang?

The Gay Lords street gang that used to hang up around Chicago Avenue and Central Park and areas around there in the 40s through the 70s. Are they still active in Chicago or have they been totally relocated to the suburbs?

They were a white greaser gang from the 50's and like many other white gangs became extinct after the flood of Mexican and Puerto-Rican immigration on the 70's and 80's. Sayre Park, Newport Street, Kilbourn Park and Seeley and Ainslie are their only four sets left. I've been gone from the Chicago area for quite a while. But they were still active in Chicago throughout my High School years, which were from 1982-1986.
The GayLords were very active in the eighties around addison and millwaukee. They were an all white gang at that time but since then they got a lot of latino members. They still exist but now their members and their behavior changed, though they are still in the same area.
They still exist along with the Vice Lords, Latin Kings, Disciples. The Latin Eagles and the Simon City Royals are pretty much disbanded. When I was in high school it was cool to be in a gang. Now they are violent and don't protect the neighborhoods they once did.
