Chicago Bachelorette Party Ideas!?

I am looking for a good hip hop dance club in Chicago to take my sister for her bachelorette party. She wants to dance! House or trance is acceptable as a second option. We are looking for something with a little swank, but not overly snobby in any sense. Just a cool place for some girls to dress up and get down. HELP!!

Well, Betty's Blue Star Lounge has live DJs most nights. It's a low key atmosphere. It might fit the bill. You can also look into Cherry Red over on Sheffield in Lakeview, Empire Liquors (seriously... it's not a Liquor store) on north Milwaukee, Funk Groove Bar at 5 W. Division, Funky Buddah Lounge on Grand ave., The Motel Bar at 600 W. Chicago, The Note in Wicker Park, Smart Bar in Wrigleyville, Sound Bar on west Ontrario, or Sonotheque on west Chicago. Most of these places are pretty low key. Some are swankyier than others. Check out the Metromix or Time Out Chicago websites. They're good places to look.
