Best driving from Nashville to Chicago. All the map services show different routes, what's your favorite?

Yes, I know how to follow signs etc, I'm asking as to which route is your favorite, interesting sights, places along the way etc.

I assume you mean Nashville, Tennessee?

I always go down I 65 through Indiana, through Louisville, and on down to Nashville.

The drive through Indiana is the worst----so boring. But I love going down through Kentucky. You pass by Churchill Downs, the Corvette Museum, Mammoth Cave. And Kentucky is so lovely.

So, if you are coming up from Music City, just reverse course and head straight up 65.
Others

It depends on what you want to see. I-65 North would be the quickest route, but interstate driving is not really full of sights.
