Travel Info Can anyone suggest a decent yet affordable Hotel within walking distance to Soldier Field, Chicago? Travel Tips I'd go with the Best Western Hotel Grant Park. It's a nice hotel, is right across the street from the bridge that connects you to the Museum Campus and Soldier Field, and is also walking distance to the Art Institute and Millenium Park. Others Forget the Congress Plaza. Here are 3 sites and there are others. The first place is located where you want but across Lake Shore Drive. Call to see if you can walk. The next two are on Michigan Av at the south end of Grant Park...within a moderate walk to Soldier Field. the second tends to have special promotions.
