Travel Info Anybody know why there is a blimp over downtown Charlotte right now? Travel Tips DuPage Airport,West Chicago Il, is home and way station to several well known blimps, such as the GoodYear blimp. I don't know where you are located but these blimps are often seen enroute to destinations such as sporting events . I work at this airport for an aircraft upholstry shop (we redo the interiors of small planes to large personal, corporate owned jets such as Mcdonald Corp. ) I enjoy watching them "sail" by us, and land. You should make a trip out here and enjoy the blimps and planes. Others yes because of the race this weekend NASCAR races all wknd. wait. charlotte or chicago? i live in charlotte and i hadnt seen any blimp at all! like someone already said though, its prolly the race. the whole city is crazzzzy over racing!! |
