Public transportation from wrigley to east chicago?

is there public transportation from wrigley field to east chicago (to the steel mill plant up there)? please let me know and how I would go about doing this. Thanks.

Don't think so. There's a Metra train that goes to South Bend, but not sure if it will get you close to East Chicago, Ind.

Now, there is a Pace bus that goes to East Chicago, Indiana, but you'd have to catch it way out near Midway airport. Not worth it.
