Is there affordable accommodation in Chicago? |
Travel Info I am searching for affordable accommodation in Chicago. All the cheap hotel sites come back with either very expensive results (>US$125 per night) or options way out of the city. Travel Tips Try the Best Western downtown. Check their website first, they might be cheaper than travelocity,etc. Or the Red Roof Inn downtown. Others Did you try the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place- near the Shedd aquarium and Field Museum? We stayed there a few months back when we went to Chicago. I can't remember how much it cost but I don't think it was too expensive and it was a very nice hotel. Maybe you could also try Holiday Inn- it might be cheaper. Priceline.com - bid- start at like $50 a nite. I'm not guaranteeing that it will work this time of year, but I've got rooms @ the Hyatt on Wacker for $60/nite 2x's and 1 other hotel that is escaping my thoughts right now for $70. catch them on a good day, take a small room (sleeps 2) and club quarters is perfect. you can stay there for $70-80 a night. have fun!
