It's not supposed to cost you anything because the sender has to pay a fee for the transfer. However, that's not to say that the merchant where you pick up the transfer cannot or will not charge you a fee to cash the check that they print on the spot for you. They will use your information to pull up the transfer, (it's a good idea to get the control number from the sender before you go). They will print out a Western Union check, have you sign it, and then they will cash it. Most places will not charge you. I get my child support bi-weekly this way, and I have came across a merchant who did charge me hist standard check cashing fee to cash it at his store, but he gave me the option of taking the check to my bank and cashing it there if I preferred.
If you are the receiver, it will not cost you anything if the person that sent the Money did it in Cash. If this person send you a Cashier Check using Western Union then there will be a fee for cashing that CK. But other than that the Answer is NO.
nope you straight
