Does Minnesota Have Tornado's? |
Travel Info I was wondering because when I go into collage i might go to depaul collage. Travel Tips I grew up in the Minneapolis subarbs and now live just outside of Duluth, MN and ya, you bettcha we get tornados. We had one when I was younger that took out quite a bit of one of the small subarbs. The U of M calls it... "A memorable tornado in Minnesota with one death and 83 injuries, tore across the Twin Cities from Edina to Roseville on June 14, 1981." There have been quite a few twisters in southern MN as of late also. Although Duluth isn't known for its tornado's they do still happen on occassion. According to the U of M statistics "In Minnesota, tornadoes have occurred in every month from March through November." I lived in Duluth Minnesota for 13 years. In that time we had tornados on three occaisions. The Western part of Minnesota is more likly to have the storms. No! silly~! |
