Better location to stay near MagMile?

Travel Info
I'm trying to decide between 2 hotels to stay at in Chicago this summer. (Radisson) is off of Huron St. and (Raffaello) just off of (Delaware). Raffaello is slightly further north and right beside John Hancock Tower, but I'm wondering which one is closer to the action. Walking distance-wise, they both seem close to Michigan Avenue, but which part of Michigan Avenue is better and closer to one of these ?

Travel Tips
These are both really close to each other. If you're going to stay in downtown Chicago, you're going to want to walk. The distance between the two is really negligible. Seems to me that the Raffaello might be more fun to stay at, but that's just me.

Delaware is a tad closer to the chi-chi shops on Oak Street. You can really just as easily get to Oak Street shops from the Huron Street hotel, though.

It's a huge city, and you're talking about a tiny segment. The "action" is everywhere. ;-)
Others
As the previous person has said both are right off Michigan Avenue and both hotels are near major shopping destinations and other attractions.

To be quite honest though, if you are looking for more than the shopping experience, you might want to check out hotels further south on Michigan Avenue closer to Millenium Park (south of Randoph Street) and Grant Park. There are any number of stores to explore in this area, but with the two parks mentioned there might be a festival happening. In addition, there are several museums in this area (Art Institute, Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, and the Planetarium) all a short distance away. And North Michigan Avenue is just a short walk away.

Check out the choosechicago.org website for a complete look on what is going on out there this summer. Have fun!
