Travel Info in chicago. my dads corporation is him an apartment here for a month. Travel Tips Millenium park is FUN ! there is so much to see and take in that one day is never enough! Go to Chicago tourisim.com to find out about all the free concerts there! If you are younger, be careful! This is CHCAGO were talking about! But if you are in high school, any time during the daytime is worth checking it out. Don't forget about Navy Pier( to the north of you) they have firewoks on Wednesday and Saturday Till Labor day. My son skateboards the whole lakefront, but some places don't allow that so , again be careful! Have fun! Source(s): I live in the suburbs now, but I've lived on the south side for 25 years. Its a great place to go , and relax, people watch from the out door cafe麓s that they have there, you麓re very near The shopping district, and close to public transportation ( Brown Line , that takes you around the loop)... You麓re not to far from all the museums, and a walk away from The Lake.. Its great you麓ll enjoy it.. ( I miss my Chicago) Take care...and enjoy my windy City..
