Getting into Chicago from S. Suburbs with a train.?

Travel Info
Hello. I am interested in taking up Japanese Swordsmanship, however the only way I can get to the Dojo is by CTA. Could someone help me figure out a way to get there. I basically live in Palos Hills, so I should take the Blue Line to Chicago and then get on the Union Pacific North Line and get off at Ravenswood?
Can anyone tell me a different or better way? The exact ending address is 3717 N. Ravenswood Ave.

Travel Tips
You might check with the RTA (836-7000, any area code in the Chicagoland area would work) as they can plot out a course. But probably your best bet is to catch the Metra at Palos Heights to Union Station in Chicago, walk a couple of blocks east from Union Station to the Brown Line, and then take the Brown Line north to Addison, which is a few blocks from 3717 N. Ravenswood.
